Mussel Beach Health Club is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year with new membership packages and specials. And there’s a lot to enjoy here: over 8,500 square feet encompassing two stories of free weights, fitness machines, cardio equipment, and aerobic and spinning studios. In addition, members can use the gym’s free parking, and both men and women have access to locker rooms with showers, tanning booths, and saunas.
Besides the usual free weights and weight and cardio machines, there are group fitness programs (“it’s always more fun to sweat with your friends,” say the staff) that include spinning, yoga, Pilates, boot camps, and more. There are also periodic fitness challenges that members can use to push themselves just that little bit more. Daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual memberships are available, as well as special discounts for houseboys/housegirls and guests of local inns.
