Free Entrance for Dad on Father’s Day at the Pilgrim Monument (PMPM)

Treat your dad to an unforgettable time. In celebration of Father’s Day, PMPM will offer dads free admission on Sunday, June 16. Enjoy a leisurely climb up the 252-foot Monument and see the amazing 360-degree view of Provincetown, followed by a visit to the Museum where the history of the Pilgrims and of Provincetown is on display. Bring your lunch and stay awhile as the grounds of the Monument is also an ideal spot for a family picnic.

Looking for a unique gift for dad? The PMPM Gift Shop has lots of great items, including Pilgrim and Mayflower themed gifts, books, games, glassware, tableware, Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy and more. WOMR Presents Alexandra Beliakovich

Alexandra Beliakovich will perform at the Wellfleet Congregational Church on Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. in a recital to benefit WOMR, featuring music by Bach, Schubert, Granados, Bartok, and Khosrowpour, the community radio station announced today.

Beliakovich is a versatile Belarusian-American pianist and educator. She has appeared with the Belarusian Symphony, the Belarusian Chamber Orchestra, the Cincinnati and Manhattan School of Music Philharmonic orchestras, the Havana Symphony Orchestra, and as recitalist in Belarus, China, Cuba, Japan, Poland, Spain, and the U.S. Beliakovich won first prize at the Klaviermusik International Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania, second prize at the Fourth International Piano Competition in Panama, and second prize at the World Piano Competition 2011.
Beliakovich’s recent engagements include concerto performances with the Havana Symphony Orchestra in Cuba, where her performances of Gershwin’s Concerto in F and Beethoven’s Concerto No. 5 won critical acclaim. As a soloist, she has also been featured on a WQXR radio broadcast and was a featured pianist at the 2018 Bar Harbor Music Festival.

“We’re so excited to be able to offer this experience to the Outer Cape community,” says John Braden, executive director of the radio station. “Ms. Beliakovich is an outstanding musician and performer, and we’re very fortunate to be able to listen to her perform. As Cape Cod’s community radio station, we’re always looking for new opportunities to bring artists of all types to contribute to the cultural life of the Outer Cape.”

The recital is presented with the support of the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival. Tickets are $25 at the door and $30 the day of the show. They can be purchased at WOMR.org or by calling the office during business hours at 508.487.2619.
